Tim Westbrook is an addiction recovery expertmental health advocate, and the Founder and CEO of Camelback Recovery, a leading behavioral health organization in Phoenix, Arizona. He specializes in helping individuals overcome substance use disordersprocess addictions, and co-occurring mental health challenges, empowering them to build lives of purpose, connection, and long-term recovery.

Born and raised in Southern California, Tim spent his teen years in Oxnard before earning a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of California, Davis. After years of struggling with addiction, he reached rock bottom in March 2011—a moment that became the foundation for his lifelong commitment to sobriety and service. His personal recovery journey fuels his passion to help others find freedom from addiction and achieve lasting transformation.

Tim founded Camelback Recovery to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for people seeking recovery from addiction and mental illness. His mission-driven leadership and focus on holistic healing have contributed to the organization’s outstanding success rate and national recognition. To deepen his clinical expertise, he earned a Master of Science in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University.

Beyond his work in behavioral health, Tim Westbrook is an Ironman triathletecertified yoga teacher, and avid cyclist. He lives and teaches the principles of balance, health, and self-mastery—embracing practices such as CrossFitcold plunginginfrared saunared light therapy, and biohacking as part of his wellness routine. He starts each day with prayer, meditation, and gratitude, embodying the spiritual foundation that sustains his recovery and success.

Tim is also the host of the podcast “I Love Being Sober,” where he interviews world-renowned experts, clinicians, and thought leaders on topics ranging from addiction recovery and mental health to fitness, spirituality, and human optimization.
